Dr. Samuel Chu

Dr. Samuel Chu is the founding member of the Hong Kong Energy Conservation Association (HKEnCA).
 
He has over 40 years’ service in electrical and building services engineering industry. He is also aChartered Professional in Personnel Management and Human Resources Development/Management.
 
He has also served as the Council and/or Committee Member with a wide variety of professional institutions/community associations. He is currently the Life Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers and the Fellow member of the Council of Hong Kong Professional Associations and the Institution of Engineering & Technology. He has been appointed as Technical Advisor by the Employees Retraining Board.
 
He is currently one of the Group Leaders of the Guangzhou Association of Engineers (Hong Kong) as well as the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Liaison Officer of the Association.
 
He has been engaged in some large scale estate developments and led teams to supervise, inspect and perform testing and commissioning on energy saving building services installations. Besides, he was involved, engaged and participated in manpower resources management for estate development construction programme.
 
Dr. Chu is also appointed as external panelist for the oral defense examination for the overseas Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in an honorary capacity.
